10 Sexiest cars in the world

This post i admit is a bit subjective. These are the cars which i would say are the best looking of all time, but you may think differently. But if you do think differently, you're wrong. Enjoy!

10. Bugatti Veyron Supersport
The Bugatti Veyron was the worlds fastest production car, until the SSC Ultimate Aero beat it, Bugatti responded with the Super Sport. By adding 200bhp (now 1,184bhp) it can reach 269.8mph. As an added bonus the interior is luxurious leather and the outside looks fantastic. I like the multiple air vents to feed the huge engine, but my favourite bit it the view from behind. The one colour rear with the open engine compartment looks fantastic.

9. Mercedes SLS
The new Mercedes flagship has been brought in to replace the SLR, which was dropped due to disappointing sales figures. Based on the 300SL it has brought back the classic gullwing doors, which i love. Its much cheaper than the 300SL at only $200,000 (compared to an average of $700,000 for the 300SL). The things i like are the huge bonnet and the sloping headlights. I also like the huge retro Mercedes symbol.

8. Jaguar E-Type
This was an easy choice. The E-Type is extremely good looking, fortunately it is still within the reaches of mere mortals and can sell for as little as £20,000. With a long shaped body, it is nostalgic of the old single seat racers. The big headlights are so inviting and the subtle bump on the bonnet makes it look ready for business.

7. Lexus LFA
The LFA is Lexus's first supercar, and they have done pretty well. It looks fantastic, and is all about the detail. There is a little gap at the front of the bonnet to allow air in, little air vents dot the sides and there is a fantastic sloping rear. Its quite expensive compared to its rivals, namely the Nissan GTR. The Lexus is £336,000 compared to £80,000 for the GTR or £160,000 for a Ferrari California.

6. Lamborghini Murcielago LP-670-4 Superveloce
A mouthful i know, but worth it when you are talking about this beast. With 670 horsepower and deadly aerodynamics it is one of the fastest and most powerful Lamborghinis of all time. I liked how the old Murcielago looked but with the added rear wing and a little lower to the ground it does look fantastic.

5. Ferrari 458
The new Ferrari made to replace the 430. It looks infinitely better than the 430 and has broken the law that all modern Ferraris don't look good.

4. Lamborghini Miura
The Miura is one of the most sought after Lamborghinis on the market today. They can go for over £400,000 easily and out cost nearly all other cars of its type. It set the trend for performance cars by being two seater and having a engine in the rear. It also came in a brilliant array of colours as all lamborghinis do.

3. Aston Martin DB5
Made famous by the coolest man in the world, James Bond obviously he chose the coolest car in the world. Its not the fastest, safest or most luxurious, but it does ooze cool like no other car. And as you will see it is my second favourite Aston Martin.

2. Aston Martin One-77
This is Aston Martins most expensive and most powerful car, and one of the most expensive cars in the world. At £1.35m a pop and only 77 being produced, it has been picked up by the worlds elite because of its exclusivity. Unfortunately all 77 are accounted for.

1. Ferrari 250 GT California SWB
This is as good as it gets. I can't look at this car for too long, for fear of getting aroused. It is the most beautiful cars ever and obviously i am not the only person who thinks so, many go for in excess of £5m. Maybe its the big covered headlights, the detailed side grills or the intricately beautiful wheels but the Ferrari 250 gt California is undoubtedly a very special car.

Best private supercar collections.

There are some lucky individuals in this world that have enough money to own a supercar, and there are some elite people who can own a whole bunch of supercars. For these select few, money is not an object. If they see a car they want then they will buy it and have it shipped off to their gold-lined underground garage filled with peacocks and nude women, on the moon.

Lets start in Hong Kong. Its one of the most expensive places in the world to own a supercar because of the very high import tax they cost several times what they do in the US or UK. Tucked away in a private multi-story car park is a car collection worth in excess of £4m. Luckily there is a video of it so i will allow it to do some of the talking.

The collections most likely owner is Sham Kar-wai who owns a Chinese fashion company, but no-one has come forward to claim the collection as theirs.

Ever wondered how you would feel if you had a supercar collection worth £ 4.5 million? Ask engineering student Dhiaa Al-Essa! He has thirty luxury motors in his garage, including four Ferraris, five Porsches, three Lamborghinis, two Rolls Royces and a Mercedes SLR McLaren. And it is not the complete story. The value of his collection is set to expand 70 per cent next year when he takes delivery of two more cars.
His Saudi business tycoon father is to buy him a Koenigsegg Agera – complete with gold key – for his 22nd birthday, a brand new Ferrari 599 GTO Roadster and a Bugatti Veyron Super Sport is on order. This is an addition price tag of £ 3.5 million.
All have personalised number plates featuring the figures 070, costing about £100,000 a time. The international playboy has spent the summer flying his cars to London, Montreal, Las Vegas and New York to go on driving tours with friends.

21-Year-Old Saudi Takes Delivery of Two More Supercars
A handful of new exotic cars set to be delivered to his Riyadh mansion over the next six months. Two £1.6 million hypercars – a Koenigsegg Agera and the world’s fastest car, a Bugatti Veyron Super Sport – and a £ 350,000 Ferrari SA Aperta will be heading to his place early next year, same goes for the replacement 458 Italia that got destroyed by fire at a Heathrow Airport warehouse depot.

Peter Saywell is a reclusive British businessman who happens to own some of the most expensive production cars in the world. He is a big fan of customising his cars and his new Pagani Zonda and hi Supercharged Range Rover are customised to match. He says “I’m working with Kahn on this one and it’s going to have the same paintjob as the Zonda along with yellow brake callipers. Side-by-side, the Range Rover will look like the Pagani’s mothership.” Here is an old video of Fift Gear being shown around his garage.
This video shot him into fame among supercar fanatics. He has not changed his car collection much since this video except for the addition of a Ferrari 599 and a few others.

The Sultan of Brunei is one of the worlds richest men and shows it in his car collection. It is one of the most secretive collections and photos are extremly rare to come by. It has been estimated that he has over 5,000 cars including 8 Mclaren F1's. The Sultan seems to have a fetish for one off or heavily customised cars. At one point Mercedes had an entire factory dedicated to rolling out custom cars for him. But money doesn't buy taste as this customised Rolls Royce Phantom shows.

He also owns the worlds largest private home at around 2,000,000sq.ft. Unfortunatly it can only hold 200 cars, so he has eight private warehouses around the world to store his 5,000 cars.

There are some car collections that are so mysterious and so private that we can only speculate about what fantastic array of automobiles lies within. Sheikh Hazza Bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan owns one of these collections. Ever since he lent Top Gear some cars to shoot with he has been the subject of much speculation. Top Gear magazine teased readers with the possibility of a snoop around, but that article has never manafested. We have only one snapshot of his collection, and i will let you imagine what else he owns.

Jay Leno is a farmiliar name, and even more familiar if you are a car nut. He owns over 150 cars and stores them all in his massive garage attached to his Los Angeles home. As well as owning some of the most desirable and modern supercars such as the Bugatti Veyron, he also has a vast array of classic cars like the Lamborghini Muira, of which he has several.

He also owns a motorbike with a jet engine!
If you want to know more about Jay Lenos garage then he has a website dedicated to it here.

Supercars of London.

London is a massive pull for the rich and famous. Over the past ten years there has been a huge increase in the amount of millionaire/billionaire Russians, Indians, Americans and Chinese who are buying up property all over central London. This means that all year long the city is full of the most expensive supercars you are ever likely to see on the roads.

But every summer something very special happens for supercar spotters. All of the young (and very rich) Arabs fly to London to show off their cars. They come because it is too hot to stay in the Middle East and we are more than accommodating for them. So every summer there is a surge of supercars and an equal surge of supercar spotters.

Here are (in my opinion) some of the best pictures taken of supercars this summer.

If you know you're cars you will recognise the Mclaren F1, Bugatti Veyron, Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, Ferrari 599, Ferrari 599 GTO, Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera, Koenigsegg Agera R, Pagani Cinque and the Mercedes SLS FAB Edition.

And bear in mind, it is only July so far.

Bahrain Supercar Collection.

Deep in the wealthy suburbs of Bahrain there is a hidden garage full to the brim with all of the best supercars from the last few years. A few years ago a photo leaked out, and recently a fantastic array of photos have been released by the owner on a forum.

I wont present you with a dull list of all of the cars in the garage. Instead i will show you the photos and let you discover whats inside for yourself.
